Monitoring & Surveillance
See what is happening before deciding what to do.
Monitoring helps identify pest activity, movement and areas needing attention.
How we monitor
• Field signs and site observations
• Trail cameras in agreed locations
• Thermal or optical observation where suitable
What it helps answer
Which animals are using an area, when activity occurs and where further monitoring or management may be useful.
What you receive
A summary of locations, monitoring periods, relevant observations and recommended next steps. Selected photographs or location references can be included where agreed.
What it cannot prove
No detections do not prove animals are absent. Repeated images may show the same animal, and monitoring does not establish an exact population.
Service availability
Scarecrow is in its establishment phase, with field operations planned to commence in 2027. Services remain subject to capability, insurance and required approvals.
See the pattern
Monitoring shows where activity is occurring and when attention is needed.
We use site observations and agreed monitoring methods to support a clear next step.
